This site is built to know as little about you as possible.

On your own device

Without an account, your stores, preferred brands, favourites, ratings, tick status and a plan in progress live in your browser's storage (localStorage). That data never leaves your device. If you clear your browser data, it is gone. With the export on the preferences page you can keep it or take it with you. Tick status and a plan in progress stay on the device even with an account.

On the server

Without an account, two things live on the server: menu plans you deliberately save (anonymous, under a random code) and messages you send through the contact form. The hosting provider also keeps standard logs with IP address and time, for security and troubleshooting.

With an account

If you create an account, we keep your name, your e-mail address and an encrypted password, plus your stores, preferred brands, own brands, favourites, ratings with notes and the plans you save. Your e-mail address is only used to confirm your account and to send a new password; we send no newsletters and do not pass it on. Of your ratings, others only see the average, the count and your note without a name. Everything is kept until you delete your account.

View, take along, delete

On the My account page you download everything we keep about you as a JSON file, and you delete your account with everything in it, immediately and permanently.

No trackers

No advertising, no tracking cookies, no third-party analytics. The only cookie is the session cookie that keeps you logged in.
